RSVP Advisory Council

Meetings: RSVP Advisory Council meets the 3rd Wednesday of January, March, May, July, September and November, at 12:15 p.m., in the City Hall Conference Room.  Guests are welcome.

Al Olson, veteran of the Air Force, has been a dedicated Retired and Senior Volunteer since January 2004, and a 10-year member of the RSVP Advisory Council. He also serves as the Volunteer Coordinator of the DAV vans in Miles City Al is a past member of the Citizens on Patrol (COPS) organization in Miles City. In 2012 Al received a Serve Montana award from the governor, in 2016 the Senior Volunteer of the Year Award from the Miles City Area Chamber of Commerce, and 2017 the AARP Andrus Award for Service to Veterans.

Mary Partridge is the owner of her own business “Mary Partridge C.P.A.”  Mary brings her skills and knowledge of business to the Advisory Council.  Mary’s interests are reading, cooking, and sewing.  Mary has been a member of the Advisory Council since July 2011.

Dee Ann McLellan-Sams has been a valuable member of RSVP.  Each year, even when she lived in Joliet, she came to Miles City to volunteer at Gramma’s Ice Cream Shoppe.  Dee spends her free time reading, crocheting, and walking.

Tara Andrews is employed by MSU Extension Custer County.  Tara’s hobbies are sewing, walking and reading.  Tara is returning to the Advisory Council.  Tara serves as a volunteer in mny different organizations.

Andria Gardner (Andi) is employed at First Interstate Bank, has 3 teenagers, has volunteered at Youth and Sunday School and is eager to become more involved with volunteerism.  Andi’s interests are reading and cooking.

Cindy Erickson served as Volunteer Coordinator at Holy Rosary Hospital prior to her employment at Miles City Job Service.  Cindy enjoys crafting, camping, traveling and gardening.

Becky Stanton is a returning member and has been the Coordinator of Harvest for Seniors the past two years.  Becky is newly retired and also serves as treasurer for the Salvation Army, along with many other volunteer activities.

Delores Cameron, who makes beautiful quilts, has been a RSVP volunteer for several years.  Delores serves on the St. Vincent DePaul Board of Directors.  Delores retired from MCC and is currently working at Champion Oil Properties.

Ted Schreiber, former Athletic Director at CCDHS, served on the Advisory Council when it was sponsored by MCC.  As AD at CCDHS, Ted supervised volunteers.  Ted is now retired and enjoys hunting, fishing, gold, hiking, and cars.

Kristi Celander is re-joining the Advisory Council.  Kristi served as Advisory Council chair in 2014-15, and had previously served as a member. She has also been involved with volunteerism at  Holy Rosary Foundation, Miles City Youth Soccer Association and Custer County Public Schools. Kristi is currently employed in the Custer County Justice of Peace office. She is the mother of a very active 7-year old.
