RSVP Programs

RSVP spearheads and participates in numerous programs every year. Annual programs are:

  • Winter Ready including our knitting group, which provides Head Start students with hats, mittens and scarves. And the Auto Winterization Day, co-sponsored with Miles Community College, which provides free winterization checks to RSVP volunteers each November.
  • Projects for 9/11 Remembrance Day and Martin Luther King, Jr. Day vary from year to year, depending on community needs, but both focus on service to our communities.

Other programs, such as those focusing on Veterans and Military Families, Healthy Futures, Economic Opportunity, Environmental Stewardship, Education, and Disaster Services, are initiated and evolve based on several factors, including community needs.

Please contact the RSVP Director for the most current program information.
